I'm writing this post during my summer break, yes, it has started. Time has gone by so fast these last few months that I didn't even notice. A few weeks ago I was at school and today I'm done. The time to say bye is getting closer and closer.
One of the multiple classes that I've taken this year is Interdisc. This is a class that combines AP USH and AP Lang, in other words, my English and History class. I've had that class every first period every day this year and it has been great. Even when we do a lot of stuff there is always time for a little fun, and we've done several projects during this year. One of my favorite ones was the Decades Project, in which we would present information about the decade we chose in a fun and entertaining way. Here you go some pics from one of them:
I had a really enjoyable lunch the day that I went to take pics of the cooking class, they invited me to eat with them and, well, I was not going to say no...

I went to Ball State with newspaper...
I went to Dayton with Braeden during WGI and it was a lot of fun.
We had an orchestra concert...
Every semester I need to do 8 hours of volunteering because my agency in the US requires so. My local coordinaor Lynne offered us to volunteer at her church so I decided to go and it was such a fullfilling experience.
Our school bands and orchestras go to ISSMA, which is basically a school competition where they grade your accuracy playing and basically your band and you as a musician.
And Prom... I have literally no words. It was a lot of fun, my best friend asked me to go with him and my prom group was the greatest. One of the best nights ever... Her's a video that Fedje made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKNClYa-nbc&sns=fb
In Anatomy our last semester was basically cat disection, and it was so so cool!
We had the newspaper banquet...
Yes, I know, my keyboard messed up, it's an!
We went to Richmond to visit granma for Mother's Day and we had lunch in this really cool pizza place.
The percussion concert...
And my birthday! I can not explain how happy I felt during that weekend, if I ever expected something for my birthday was definitely nothing compared with what happened. So my birthday is on May 14th but that day we had our exchange students goodbye party so I knew I could not do anything with my friends that day bc I would be there and I thought we would celebrate the next weekend. So on Friday my family told me we had plans with Lorrie and Ann, we would go out for dinner with them to celebrate my birthday. That day Sara picked Erin and me up at school and we went shopping together, when we got home my mom was saying that there had been a change of plans and that we were not going to go out anymore. A moment after that I'm in the living room and my friends came out of the hallway upstairs. They made me a surprise birthday party!! My mom apparently had been planning for weeks this and she had texted my friends and put all together. It was the best party ever, I really can not express how thankful I am for my family here, I wish I could. I was so happy that even when everybody was expecting me to cry, like I always do, I couldn't stop smiling! So thank you to all my friends and family because you are great, I will always remember this :)
The next day, my birhday haha, we had the CIEE goodbye party, and yes I cried bc I don't want to leave all these amazing peeps and I was sensible ok?
The band awards...
LN awards...
My Anatomy teacher brought me food to school to say goodbye, biscuits and gravy bc according to him I needed to try them before leaving.
Our last newspaper issue came out and it was so hard to realize that it was the last time I would go out to take pictures, that I would put newspapers in the classes on Friday morning or that we would be all together in the same class. How can you say bye to your favorite class, how can you feel when you realize it's over... It was sad but we still have our own banquet and we'll see each other this summer. Newpaper will always be my favorite class and I would keep the memories we made there in my heart, forever. Love you guys that's all I have to say.
That's my senior goodbye
The 21st Try Hi Y celebrated Catchella, which is basically a little concert of multiple bands from our high school, after that I went to Claire's. It was a lot of fun, and god, there's so many talented people in our school!
Yes, they want me to come back for college
Mork invited me to go the next day to the Indy 500 Qualifications, so next morning she and her family picked me up and we went there. It was lit, I loved it so so so much, and one of the guys was from Spain!
I found Roque there!!
And here's a picture of all the CIEE exchange students with our principal and counselour :)
I also volunteered in the 500 parade with some other exhange studetns. We carried the balloons and even when we don't look great it was a lot of fun!
And the time to say goodbye came. As I walked down the LN hallways for the last time as a student I could only think about how much happiness this high school has brought to me, how many friends I have now, and how much I love it here. It was so sad to think that that was it, that my year was over, no more classes, no more anything. I cried so much but I guess that is true what they say, how happy I am that I have something so good that makes leaving so hard. Thank you LN, thank you for a memorable year. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat.
To end this post I'm just going to throw here a bunch of random pics. This could have been a very sentimental post but I didn't want it to be. I'm not saying bye, not yet, and until the moment I really do it I'm not going to make it hard. I have one more month here, and I promise you, I'm going to enjoy it to its fullest.
